P26: The more the Mind is capable of understanding things by the third kind of knowledge, the more it desires to understand them by this kind of knowledge.

Dem.: This is evident. For insofar as we conceive the Mind to be capable of understanding things by this kind of knowledge, we conceive it as determined to understand things by the same kind of knowledge. Consequently (by Def. Aff. I), the more the Mind is capable of this, the more it desires it, q.e.d.
